Oswego is diverse, yet it's small enough to develop a tight-knit community feel. Small class sizes and tuition price tag are also some advantages of this state school. Be prepared for the cold and the snow though--with it's northern location in New York, you can expect to be making lots of snowmen and having frequent snowball fights (and maybe even snow days). Just be sure not to get too sucked into the partying mentality some students have.
