Beauty and southern charm are just the beginning of Southern Methodist. Although the school maintains its Methodist roots and holds very conservative values, they definitely have a wild side. Remember, most dorm rooms do sport the Rebel Flag and with about half of all students rushing, the Greek system runs the social calendar. Religiously affiliated or not, Greek is Greek wherever you go. Since alumni keep strong ties to SMU, graduates can enjoy real advantages in the surrounding job market.
